Privacy Policy

AuronCam: Beauty Camera ("AuronCam", "the app") is made by auronsan555 ("we"). This policy explains what the app does with your information. In short: AuronCam has no account, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. Your camera images, your face and your photos stay on your phone.
Camera and face processing
AuronCam uses your camera to show a live preview with beauty effects and filters. To place effects such as face slimming and bigger eyes, the app finds the position of facial features (for example the eyes and jawline) in each camera frame, using Google's MediaPipe face landmark model running entirely on your device. Background blur finds the outline of the person in view the same way, with MediaPipe's selfie segmentation model, also on your device.
- This happens in memory, frame by frame, and the results are discarded immediately.
- Face positions and outlines are never stored, never sent off your device, and never used to identify you, to recognise who you are, or for advertising.
- Camera images are never uploaded. We never receive them.
Photos and videos you take
Photos and videos are saved only on your device: on Android in Pictures/AuronCam, and on iPhone in your Photos library (with your permission). You can view, share or delete them at any time. The app only shares one when you choose Share, using your phone's own share sheet.
Videos include sound from the microphone if you allow it. The microphone is used only while you record a video (on iPhone, while the camera is in Video mode), and the sound goes only into that video, on your device.
AuronCam Pro purchases
Pro is a monthly subscription sold through Google Play or the Apple App Store. They process the payment; we never see your payment details. To know whether Pro is active, the app asks Google Play or the App Store, on your device, which subscriptions your account owns, and keeps a yes/no flag on your device so Pro works offline. Google and Apple handle purchases under their own privacy policies: Google and Apple.
Information we collect
We do not collect any personal information through the app. The app contains no analytics, crash-reporting or advertising code, and has no advertising ID. Settings and the Pro flag are kept on your device only. On Android, the app does not even have permission to use the internet; purchases go through the Google Play Store app.
If you email us, we receive your email address and what you write, and use them only to reply.
Permissions
- Camera: to show the live preview and take photos and videos.
- Microphone (optional): to record sound with videos. Without it, videos have no sound.
- Photos (iPhone): to save the photos and videos you take to your library.
Children
AuronCam is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone, of any age.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
